Description of General Responsibilities

Responsibilities include building maintenance, security & safety coordination, fixed asset inventory and surplus management, key control, recycling/waste management, space management, and preventive management. This person will also be responsible for all equipment and preventive maintenance and renovation projects for the school.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of relevant computer software programs including Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, e-mail, and university software systems (Banner, or other ERP). Knowledge of local building codes and federal, state, and university policies and procedures related to occupational and facilities safety and management.

High level organizational skills, attention to detail, computer proficiency in required programs, project management

Exceptional customer service and ability to prioritize and address multiple problems and challenges, function independently and demonstrative initiative, ability to communicate effectively, engage in effective problem solving, work as an effective team member, identify and meet continuous quality improvement needs; manage multiple projects simultaneously, effective use of technology. Ability to work in a diverse environment is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Considerable experience with facility design. Experience with renovation projects and building management.
