Description of the Job

The laboratory of Dr. Paula Bos is seeking a qualified individual who will work toward out long-termed goal of unraveling novel tumor-stomal interactions that support tumor progression and metastatic dissemination that can be harnessed to improve current therapies and prolong disease-free survival in cancer patients. Specifically, we focus on the interaction between regulatory T cells, a major immune-suppressive mechaniism and various components of the tumor microenvironment in a breast tumor model refractory to current immunotherapy (Bos et al, JEM; Bos et al, Nature 2009)

Required Qualifications

The candidate for this Postdoctoral position should be highly motivated with a strong record of research productivity and a background in cancer biology, immunology, neuroscience, brain injury or mammary gland biology to share our ongoing research efforts. Previous experience with mouse models of cancer, bioinformatics analysis, flow cytometry and primary cell culture is highly desired. A doctoral degree in a biology science is required.
